Frequently Asked Questions
Is MOMS Club a religious or
political organization?
No. MOMS Club welcomes moms of all religious,
ethnic, and political backgrounds and views. We are not
affiliated with any religious sect or denomination.
Is there a fee to join MOMS Club?
Annual dues for our chapter are currently
$25/year. Dues cover administrative costs of running the chapter
(such as photocopying, postage, etc.), a donation for our
meeting space, and other chapter expenses.
Can I bring my kids to MOMS club
activities and functions?
Children are welcome at all MOMS Club
events. Although kids rarely accompany moms on Mom's Night Out
events, even there it is not uncommon for a mom or two to have a
nursing baby along.
My child has a disability. Can we
still participate in MOMS Club?
Children with disabilities or special needs are
certainly welcome to become part of MOMS Club. We will make
every reasonable effort to accommodate your situation.
I think MOMS Club might be for me,
but I want to be sure. Is there a way for me to check out your group
before I actually decide to join and pay my dues?
Absolutely! Prospective members may attend up to
two meetings or public events or activities before joining.
For liability reasons, non-members may only attend events or
activities that are in a public setting (e.g., park play days or
some other event or venue that is open to the public). After
attending such meetings or events, you must join and complete a
liability form if you wish to attend any further MOMS Club
activities. (Of course, you may join anytime; you are not
required to attend two events first!)
I think MOMS Club sounds great,
but I don't live in the communities your chapter serves. What should
I do?
If you are not within the geographic
boundaries of the Norco MOMS Club, you can check
for a MOMS Club chapter in your area from the
International MOMS Club website, or
email International MOMS Club.
If no chapter exists in your area, you can be a chapter founder
and start your own! Our chapter will be happy to help and
provide guidance, and you will get lots of support and
assistance from the regional and national levels of MOMS Club as
well.
